We're the regular Northampton area meetup for ACX readers, and (as far as I know) the only rationalist or EA meetup in the Pioneer Valley area. We started in the 2018 Meetups Everywhere event and have been going ever since, though had a dip during the COVID era. Our usual choice of the Library Room is reserved, so we have a booth informally reserved in the back (across from the entrance to the Library Room).

NOTE: Because our usual location of Rocky Hill Cohousing in Northampton is unavailable, we're meeting at The Hangar Pub and Grill (a.k.a. Amherst Brewing Company) in Amherst. We're also meeting on Friday rather than the usual Saturday again for logistical reasons. We'll look for a relatively quiet area with a table that's big enough for everyone, in the outdoor seating area if it's not too cold. For anyone who's brand new, we'll have an "ACX meetup" sign. The Hangar has a dedicated parking lot so it should be easy to find parking.

Sorry, I missed this when you first posted it. The next meetup I tried to set up was in January, but for whatever reason there's been a dip in interest lately (2-3 RSVPs per meetup vs. the usual 4-7) so I haven't set up any actual meetups so far since this one. The next one I'm planning to hold is with the next of Scott's biannual Meetups Everywhere events, which normally get a few more people and I'm hoping between that and the pent-up desire for a meetup after not having any for a few months, we should at least get the usual 4-7. (Organizer here.) I'm not aware of anyone so far this time around. But I went to UMass and I know the PVTA Blue 43 bus runs every 30-45 minutes and has stops at both UMass Haigis Mall and at the Academy of Music Theatre in Northampton (less than a 1 minute walk from Packard's).
