Croatian LessWrong active group communicates mainly through a Telegram group, we meetup semi regularly, approx once a month. The group is mostly social, and the meetups are not structured (sometimes we all just meet at a random party)
I believe explicit model visualizations explain systems better, and if we had the tools to effectively work with them, they could improve the quality of debates and increase rationality in institutions.
In Lies, Damn Lies and Fabricated Options, the basic idea is that mental models of reality that people hold are often wrong. Not only that, it's hard to estimate just how wrong they are.
In Prioritization Research for Wisdom, the basic idea is that good things happen with wisdom, and we should find ways to be wiser. This seems like it will take more time than its worth in the context of the question.
