What is the impact of a pandemic on the world economy? Or what is the impact of the economy on the spread of a virus? The limits of human networks
HansNauj5y10

The core of my point concerns more the mathematics of these networks.
I do not think that the problem are the supply chains itself, but
its size and its topology, as well as velocity of exchange. Mine is a
conjecture, and perhaps I am wrong. But the history shows how over
extended networks, like the silk road, infections like the black dead
easily spread. These networks not only facilitate the transport of
epidemics, but open ecosystems where trapped diseases can be easily
transported.

Thanks for the feed back. I implemented small changes in the text in response to these comments
