TLDR: Throughout human history pattern recognition, inspiration, and reasoning have been at the core of most innovations - including artificial intelligence. It is theorised that a code-generation model with the ability to demonstrate the aforementioned parameters should be able to build recursively better AI systems. This is the current realised 'holy grail' of AI and typically referred to as the singularity, in which there appears to be a very highly likelihood (>80%) of it being surpassed within the next 14 years.
