I've been fascinated by AI for over a decade. Watching from the sidelines as this technology evolved from science fiction into something that's reshaping everything we thought we knew about intelligence, creativity, and what it means to be human.

I'm not building AI systems or working for Big Tech. I don't have venture capital backing or a PhD in machine learning. What I do have is an old-school background in coding and development, which means I understand enough about how these systems work to be both amazed and terrified by what's coming.

I'm not here to talk code. I'm here to wrestle with the bigger questions: What happens when machines start thinking for themselves? How do we stay human in an age of artificial intelligence? Who gets to decide what values we build into these systems that are already shaping how we think, feel, and see the world?

I'm just someone who finds this stuff absolutely mind-blowing and wants to have real conversations about it. Not the technical stuff you can find everywhere else, but the philosophical, ethical, and deeply human questions that keep me up at night.

This is probably the most important conversation of our time, and I think it's too important to leave just to the experts. We all have skin in this game. Our autonomy, our privacy, our future.
