Have you tried "Modealert" (also called Modafinil) for focus? Its fantastic. Its a pill. You can get it online. You'll get 8 hrs of extreme focus. (so don't take it later than afternoon). Supposedly several Presidents take it. The other alternative is "Armodafinil", which is slower to kick in, but lasts longer. I would take a half of pill bc Armodafinil sometimes last too long. It has no major side effects, no jitteryness like caffeine. They were used as alternatives to Adderall, but much safer and non-addictive. It was created for and proven treatment for sleep disorders like narcolepsy. Just take one when you need a 6-8 hr stretch of pure focus. I will say the only downturn for me was drifting to social media (instead of hard work) lol. So the focus was there, but sometimes I needed to direct it better, I don't think that's a byproduct of it, just my personality. :/
Regarding the alcohol, take 600-1800mg of NAC right b4/after your drinking. You won't have a hangover the next day. Alcohol isn't the direct culprit, it turns into acetaldehyde. That's the toxic thing that gives you dehydratedness, headache, tiredness, etc. NAC is the precursor to glutathione from your liver, that ups your immune system and that takes care of the acetaldehyde.
As an aside. I think you're correct and commend you on your journal as far as "regular people clinical trials". I think the thing missing on this info, as you had mentioned you're smaller, is that there has to be more "weight based" dosage. Most "medicines" are based on weight, although they do take a "general dosage" approach as the side-effects, or effects are negligible. Still dialing in was smart. I think though that your birth control had a lot to do with most of the mood, weight, energy effects. So at the very least this is a good account of the effect of the two on each other. Or maybe its just as simple as birth control takes a lot of ladies on a roller coaster.
The Reta info was good. Although larger and a male, it gives me a good baseline for comparison.
