Though it made me wonder whether the goal of academic research should be to convince the "big players" to use the important findings from their research. If that is the case, do you have any thoughts on how this can be done in a more formal/regular manner? Currently, it seems we mainly just hope that the frontier labs stumble upon such work when doing their own literature search.
