Because as far as I understand Bayesian reasoning consists of updating ones beliefs as time passes and new evidence supports or counters it.
I believe certainty perhaps can never arrived at because our anticipated outcome rarely mirrors the actual outcome.
And either way to stand by a belief one needs to test it and update it. To see if a particular action was right we need to have courage to do it and say oops if it doesn't match with our anticipation.
