Contrary to what you may have heard, humans are not obsolete for math. Not yet. The most obvious reason is that AI is still bad at writing.
My question is - what about when they are. That is, if LLMs become better at writing mathematics articles than humans in all respects. To me this is the urgent point that requires consideration. I feel that we are reacting to partial stages on the way to that one and so are always reactive and behind the game.
