This really is encouraging.

Although, as both an aspiring rationalist and someone who studied psychology, I really should have already gotten Conformity and such things out of my head, I still found that seeing someone in China (like me) with no technical knowledge in AI safety or specialties in CS and math (like me again) resolve to make a great shift in their life to contribute anything they can on this issue was as encouraging as the subject in Asch's experiments seeing a single dissenting confederate. Why, I’m seeing a Marion Wheeler quote used in a LessWrong parody comment the very same day I read There Is No Antimemetics Division on scp website. I didn’t expect it to be that well known.

Actually I often encounter this on lesswrong with mac os and safari.

No one said that the punctuation which belongs to the quoted sentence should be ouside. The proper examples for what this post is trying to promote should be like

Hi there, I finally created my account on LW for like five months after I discovered this whole thing about rationalism and the Sequences and EA and such through HPMOR (which I curiously found in the essay Why I Don't Discuss Politics With My Friends - that is not somewhere you'd expect the name Harry Potter to occur! ).
