Thanks for raising awareness on this. Adjacent to this, preservation of democracy and the high misuse risks of AI that come along with it are in my opinion one of the most important fields to work on currently, or at least status quo the most neglected. Work in AI Safety is not secure if we slide further into an authoritarian system and the free democratic basic order collapses.
