Killer robots are not bad, they can be used in the place of making human killers which is violating to the humanity of the individual. Robots have no psyche they can't suffer any PTSD or anything alike. The problem is how the robots are made and how do they get used.
Robots are simply inevitable, taking action against it is futile in my opinion. You can't look at the bad side of the invention while leaving out the good out of consideration.
Though i do not agree with killing civilians (referring to the story you mentioned at the beginning where google cloud services were used).
