It would be an understatement to say a lot has happened since this blog post was first published. LLMs have become one of the fastest-growing and most powerful technologies in human history. Anthropic (and the rest of the aforementioned companies in your post) has seen unprecedented growth. Despite this growth, AI safety feels severely underinvested relative to other areas of AI, but is arguably more important than ever.
