I agreed with large parts of this despite being pretty happily polyamorous. And I do think the community default should be "oh you're feeling jealous, have you considered you might be monogamous" not "oh you're feeling jealous, you should read 100 self help books." This seems unlikely to happen though because poly people benefit from a dating pool where the majority of people are poly (as do monogamous people with monogamous dating pools).
