Just an absolutely amazing post. You know when you've had a feeling for years you just couldn't quite articulate in a succinct and accurate way, and then someone else comes along and does it -- and you're like "YES! YES!! THAT EXACTLY!" That's what happened here for me.
I have a very illiquid role. I'm 26. I've been at an early stage startup since graduating from college. I have gotten vast experience across functions. I'm now Chief of Staff. So, very much a generalist. And I constantly worry about where I'll be in 5 years.
