I share your existential dread completely, however some things I find even more pessimistic than you outlined.
It is entirely possible that intellectual labor is automated first, thus most good jobs are gone, but humans are not. Creating fascist-like ideologies and religions and then sending a bunch of now otherwise useless humans to conquer more land could become a winning strategy, especially given that some countries arguably employ it right now (e. g. Russia).
It is unlikely that 10x global economic growth happens as a result of labor replacing AGI - th
