I am pure Chinese, grew up in China, studied in China, currently work and live in China. Most of these comments and impressions are not very accurate. The differences among Chinese people are just like the differences among people in the United States or Japan. Of course, the reality of Chinese politics might tip the scales, so it leads to some phenomena that some have pointed out, but on the grand scheme of things, it's more like certain Conservatives' attempt to frame love of capitalism and inequality as defining characteristics of Americans, it doesn't ...
