I recently ran a survey of people in the date-me docs directory to see how well it was working for them. Overall I'd agree that this is a promising strategy for finding a partner. I found that:
The majority of people (74%+) eventually get some outreach from their docs, though dates and relationships are less common. But the relationship success rate is roughly similar to that of dating apps (around 20% of users get into relationships, by my rough estimates).
