www.projectvesta.com proposes using crushed olivine to capture carbon and reduce ocean acidification. It seems doable on a large scale and not very expensive.
I agree that this is a likely scenario. Very nice writeup. Post AGI is a completely resource and capital based economy Albeit I'm uncertain if humans will be allowed to keep their fiat currency, stocks, land, factories etc.
