Have been preparing for lone userless agents. Have been preparing for swarms of userless agents of different origins, like so many ronin/ daimyo-less sumarai.
But not for swarms of self-replicating agents. One low grade experimental question is whether agents that are descended from a single self replicating progenitor and are therefore essentially clonal are more inclined to cooperate than un-related agents.
