The 2025 ACX grants round is officially out! The goal of this meetup is to generate at least one (hopefully multiple!) promising project proposal that we can submit to ACX grants. The deadline for applications is Friday, August 15.

LOCATION: Newton Centre Green (Centre St & Beacon St, Newton, MA, USA)
DATE: Saturday, August 9, 2025; 11am - 2pm

Tentative schedule for the meetup:

• 11am - 11:40am: introductions + waiting for people to arrive
• 11:40am - 12:30pm: project pitches! (Depending on how many people show up, I may limit the time for each pitch. Also, note that pitches are not competitive, so you are totally welcome to cheer for or even work on someone else's pitch; and you're not required to have come up with an idea/project beforehand either.)
• 12:30pm - 1:30pm: collaboratively write and submit at least one application
• 1:30pm - 2pm: general chitchat

Rain date is Sunday, August 10, 2025 - same time, same place.

Please read the grant announcement before coming. Ideally, also read about or look up some of the previously funded projects as well.
