Lone Star Flight Museum is Houston's other air and space museum, featuring a collection of classic planes and artifacts from aviation history.
The museum opens at noon on Sundays; we'll plan to meet up on the plaza by the flagpoles (or just inside, if weather doesn't cooperate) and head in shortly after opening. We plan to take a couple of hours to check out the various exhibits.
Friends and family are always welcome. Children, teens, and seniors have discount admissions; adult tickets are $18 apiece. Parking is available in the museum's lot for no additional charge. Note that the museum appears to have an event for toddlers every Sunday, so perhaps consider bringing earplugs if loud noises are an issue.
