Hi, this is a calendar blocker for the Secular Solstice in Munich. I will figure out the location and schedule closer to the date, check this post again or check the WhatsApp group.
If you've never been to one: Secular Solstice is a tradition from the rationalist community, celebrated in many cities around the longest night of the year. We sit together in a room that gets darker and darker, sing songs and hear short readings and speeches about how far humanity has come and how much is still ahead of us, and then we bring the light back. You don't need to know any of the songs. There will be lyrics, and singing badly is explicitly allowed (:
Afterwards we'll have dinner together (vegan, potluck style) and hang out for as long as people feel like it.
If you play an instrument, like to sing, want to give a short reading or speech, or want to help with setup, please message me so we can coordinate.
Please RSVP if you're more than 60% confident that you will participate, and un-RSVP if that changes so we can keep track.
