Do note that I'll be hosting this event in Newton from 11am to 2pm so if I arrive in person it will probably be around 2:30pm - 3pm ish unless I call it off early
We're going to put together an ACX community voting guide for the upcoming primary elections. This is happening in two parts.
The first part is online in Google Docs over the course of the next several days. If you want to vote informedly or help others do so, please click that link, read the instructions there, and make your voice heard.
The second part is in person on Saturday, September 6, from 2–4 PM, at the Boston Public Library in Copley Square. We'll discuss the arguments made in the above document and vote on a final set of endorsements. These will then be posted publicly online, and Scott Alexander has agreed to advertise them in the next Open Thread post.
For the in-person meetup, we'll be in Mezzanine Conference Room 3. "The easiest way to access this room is by using the 700 Boylston Street entrance. Mezzanine Conference Rooms are located on the Mezzanine level of the Boylston Street Building. Please keep in mind that we do not permit any outside food and beverage within the study rooms."
