The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston is the second-largest art museum in North America and the ninth-largest in the world. On exhibit now is the US debut of the Heinz Berggruen collection, including works by Pablo Picasso, Paul Cezanne, and Henri Matisse.
We'll meet for lunch at Cafe Leonelli in the Kinder Building before seeing the exhibit. There are two (2) restaurants in this building; you're looking for the not-expensive counter-served one. Once we're all assembled and done eating, we'll check out the exhibition and probably some of the other art for a few hours—or until museum fatigue gets the best of us.
Friends and family are always welcome. For those driving, you can park in one of the museum garages, or try your luck at Sunday street parking. Public transit is also available.
