Scott Alexander has helped coordinate “Ballots Everywhere” meetups in several major cities for this November’s election

“Each election year, I’ve shared how I plan to vote in local elections. This year I want to scale up and produce voter guides for all the big US cities/states with a critical mass of ACX readers. Eight big city meetup groups have offered to work on this. If you’re in one of their cities, consider going to the meetup and helping decide who to recommend (you’ll probably want to bring a smartphone or computer, plus any voting guide you’ve received, to help with research).”
Chicago Rationality will be doing our part to research local candidates and ballot initiatives. This time, we are really actually going to know who to vote for for water reclamation district commissioner.
