We will be learning 2 applied rationality modules/techniques, Inner Simulator and Trigger-Action Planning. 'Inner Simulator' is the technique of using your native mental simulations in your intuitive mind for self-reflection and planning. 'Trigger-Action Planning' is the use of implementation intentions (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Implementation_intention) with other rationality techniques to create automatic mental responses in pursuit of a variety of goals and tasks.
We will start promptly at 1:00 p.m., so please show up on time. Also, please bring a lunch for yourself (although there is also purchasable food nearby). Feel free to invite friends, but please RSVP so we know how many people are coming!
