We’ll be discussing altered states of consciousness as mediated by (1) meditation and (2) LSD. (I was originally just going to have it be on meditation but i thought the LSD articles made a fun contrast.)
If you don't have time to read all of them, your attendance is still welcome! But the discussion is probably easier to engage with if you at least skimmed one or two of the articles.

Note that sister's sludge coffee bar has a preference that everyone who attends buy something or other during their time there; this is a good thing to do, but i intend to purchase some cookies for the table communally so that if you can't afford to buy a thing you shouldn't much worry about it.
