This is an effective altruism meetup to discuss who one might vote for in the upcoming municipal election. I will prepare posters on the policy platforms of the major mayoral candidates, and the parties running city council candidates. Feel free to invite your friends who are still figuring out whom to vote for!

Itinerary
12 noon - 1 p.m.: Getting the Vote Out
For the first hour, we'll ensure everyone attending who wants to vote is registered, and knows where to go and what they need to vote. We'll also go over the instructions for doing so, so you can tell others you know how they can vote too!

1 p.m. - 2 p.m.: Mayoral Candidates
We'll take an hour to go over what kinds of evidence-based policies to keep an eye out for among mayoral candidates, and take an hour to go over their policy platforms.

2 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.: Lunch Break

2:45 p.m.- 3:45 p.m.: Party Platforms
We'll take an hour to go over what kinds of evidence-based policies to keep an eye out for among mayoral candidates, and take an hour to go over their policy platforms.

3:45 p.m. - 5 p.m.: Roundtable Discussion
In the last hour, we'll have a moderated roundtable discussion where anyone can voice questions to be freely answered to clarify priorities, or advocate for voting for a particular candidate or party.
