We have an ongoing SSC discussion group that convenes at least monthly, typically with attendance of 15-20. They’re very informal - people just show up and talk to each other, usually without all having read the same posts. People split off into small groups and talk about stuff they’re interested in, usually tangentially related to the blog at first and then meandering off-topic after a while. Besides the monthly discussions, we also do other events such as dinner parties or board games.
This event is part of the SlateStarCodex Meetups Everywhere 2018. This is a great opportunity to meet other rationalists and SSC readers in person. Everyone is welcome to come!
