Greetings, Halifax rationalists! We will be meeting and discussing "The Sort": the phenomenon whereby society has become increasingly efficient at identifying talented people from various backgrounds and "sorting" them into a position of maximal societal impact. The term was coined in this twitter thread by Patrick Mackenzie, which will be the starting point for our discussion. What are the pros and cons of this "sorting" becoming better?
