To what extent is this a real phenomenon? How does it relate to the social media and digital age? And most topically, how does this relate to new AI services such as CharacterAI and SocialAI?

Secondarily, this coming Thursday is Petrov Day! This will our observed celebration gathering for the holiday.

This may be the last regular meeting before the Meetups Everywhere next month. On Saturday, October 5th, there is an Austin Meetup that might replace our usual meetup... But we might set up an impromptu gathering that weekend anyway. Check this space later...
