The topic for this meetup was proposed by Gergo: What can we do for AI alignment, in particular towards slowdown/pause from Hungary? Would it be worth to do it? AI safety discussion is being picked up by mainstream media, including here in Hungary. The general public’s understanding of the topic is somewhat shallow, but with the Overton-window shifting we might have an opportunity to change this.
