Seems like we keep being out of luck - we won't meet outside in the park when there's a risk of missiles. Can anyone provide a place to meet near a shelter? If not, we'll cancel and retry when things calm down.
There is not that much of us, we can absolutely just meet next to a public shelter; in fact our previous meeting spot was like 5 minutes from one, apparently, and we could just move in the park a bit. The other thing though, is that people from other cities might not come and they were like half of us last time
I didn't know there's a public shelter nearby, that's good to know.
I'll be one of those people from other cities this time, and I won't be able to make it.
I think it would be better to move the meeting to next week, sorry for such a later notice.
Edit: on second thought, I don't want to push it back, then again, then again. If people want to meet tomorrow, that's wonderful. I'll schedule the next meeting when things quite down in a few weeks.
Hi there! After many years of non-existence, we are rebooting the Jerusalem rationalist community. Come be among the select few who can they they were there at the start of it all.
We will meet at Sacher park on Friday, at 10am, next to the playground in the North part of the park (https://maps.app.goo.gl/VNF49W9snZyfpFMc6). There is no formal plan - we will get to know each other, and figure it out as we go along. Interesting company is not promised but is quite likely.
If you are reading this, you are invited. Yes, even if you never went to one of those, even if you are not <adjective> enough for these kinds of things - we assure you that you are, actually, <adjective> enough, for any value of <adjective>.
RSVPs are welcome but definitely not mandatory, feel free to spontaneously come and say hi.
