This is not my best work, but the idea of "some human that I used to know" popped into my head and I threw this together before I lost interest.
This song was tough because it's technically a duet, and the original works in part because you can imagine parts of the second chorus in the voice of the second singer, but here that doesn't really work because the theme doesn't as easily permit that ambiguity.
Also the lyrics have weird meter, which made it hard to find good fits. In a lot of places I was forced to leave a lot of the original words to get something that even kind of scanned (and it's pretty rough in a lot of spots).
Not my best work, but it was fun, so published anyway. :-)
