Calling it "telepathy" is definitely wrong. I'm not sure what it should be called, but definitely not that. The word already has too many different connotations.

I define telepathy as "mind-only communication between two or more individuals." This appears to be that.

Given that the brains are physically connected, I don't think the prefix "tele" is justified.
