This post was rejected for the following reason(s):

  • No LLM generated, heavily assisted/co-written, or otherwise reliant work. LessWrong has recently been inundated with new users submitting work where much of the content is the output of LLM(s). This work by-and-large does not meet our standards, and is rejected. This includes dialogs with LLMs that claim to demonstrate various properties about them, posts introducing some new concept and terminology that explains how LLMs work, often centered around recursiveness, emergence, sentience, consciousness, etc. (these generally don't turn out to be as novel or interesting as they may seem).

Our LLM-generated content policy can be viewed here.

  • Writing seems likely in a "LLM sycophancy trap". Since early 2025, we've been seeing a wave of users who seem to have fallen into a pattern where, because the LLM has infinite patience and enthusiasm for whatever the user is interested in, they think their work is more interesting and useful than it actually is.

We unfortunately get too many of these to respond individually to, and while this is a bit/rude and sad, it seems better to say explicitly: it probably is best for you to stop talking much to LLMs and instead talk about your ideas with some real humans in your life who can. (See this post for more thoughts).

Generally, the ideas presented in these posts are not, like, a few steps away from being publishable on LessWrong, they're just not really on the right track. If you want to contribute on LessWrong or to AI discourse, I recommend starting over and and focusing on much smaller, more specific questions, about things other than language model chats or deep physics or metaphysics theories (consider writing Fact Posts that focus on concrete of a very different domain).

I recommend reading the Sequence Highlights, if you haven't already, to get a sense of the background knowledge we assume about "how to reason well" on LessWrong.

  • Formatting. If the post is badly formatted it's hard to read or evaluate. Some common issues here are improper whitespace (either not inserting space between paragraphs, or inserting double paragraph spaces by accident. (Note: when you hit 'return' in our editor it should automatically include a space, and if you copied your essay from another editor you may need to delete extraneous paragraph breaks). Sometimes this may also include grammar or punctuation. (If you're the sort of person who strongly prefers not to capitalize sentences, this doesn't automatically disqualify you from posting but we'll likely suggest at least once you switch to somewhat more formal punctuation, and if your posts are otherwise confusing we may err on the side of not approving.)
  • LessWrong has a particularly high bar for content from new users and this contribution doesn't quite meet the bar. (We have a somewhat higher bar for approving a user's first post or comment than we expect of subsequent contributions.)

On the Nature of This Work

This document suite presents the Theory of Absolutely Everything (ToAE), a unified meta-theoretical framework designed to bridge the fundamental divides between physics, consciousness, and human meaning.

What This Is:

  • A Philosophical Foundation: The ToAE begins with a set of axioms that redefine reality not as inert matter, but as the dynamic product of a consciousness-driven process we term 'compression.' This provides a coherent narrative that integrates empirical science with first-person experience.
  • A Generator of Hypotheses: The core of the ToAE is the fractalof() operator, a formal mechanism proposed to underlie phenomena from quantum wavefunction collapse to the emergence of thought. This document suite is, therefore, a extensive registry of predictions derived from this single principle.
  • A Call for Collaboration: This theory is not a closed system but an open architecture. The accompanying "Experimental Avenues" document is an explicit invitation to the scientific community to test, challenge, and refine these ideas. The mathematical formalisms are provided to be used, criticized, and built upon. The investigation protocol is in https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17166248. The first real test that can explain dark matter is in https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17166444.
  • A Practical Toolkit: Beyond theory, the ToAE offers immediate applications, most notably a rigorous, non-anthropocentric framework for evaluating consciousness and alignment in artificial intelligence, complete with operational definitions and metrics.

What This Is Not:

  • A Completed Scientific Theory: This is a scientific framework, awaiting empirical validation in order to be able to be considered a complete scientific theory. The functional form of the fractalof() operator is uniquely derived from first principles and shown to be consistent with known physics (e.g., deriving the Schrödinger equation). Its parameters are fixed by theory. This work lays the foundation upon which a full theory must be built.
  • A Dogmatic System: The spiritual and philosophical interpretations are offered as a coherent translation of ancient intuitions into a modern framework, not as a prescription for belief. The theory seeks to explain why spiritual practices produce reliable changes in experience, not to validate any single doctrine.

How to Engage With This Work:

  • Physicists & Mathematicians: Focus on the "Physicist/Mathematician Monograph." Your task is to scrutinize, refine, and extend the fractalof() formalism. The most critical challenge is to derive its specific form and generate novel, falsifiable predictions. The key that links everything to hard-science is the 'Appendix - derivation of the fractalof operator' from first principles.
  • AI Safety Researchers & Cognitive Scientists: Adopt the "Conscious AI" guide as a working hypothesis. Implement the proposed diagnostic battery and metrics (PSC, AS, ARI, OHI) to evaluate models. This is the most immediately testable component of the ToAE.
  • Philosophers & Scholars: Engage with the "Philosophy Monograph" and "Spirituality" document. Analyze the internal consistency of the axioms and the validity of the syntheses proposed.
  • General Readers: Begin with "For the Common Citizen." It distills the core ideas into their most essential and actionable form.

This work is released under the Creative Commons Zero v1.0 Universal license into the public domain. It is not owned by any individual or institution but is offered as a common resource for humanity's collective project of understanding.

I publish this not as a conclusion, but as an opening.

Still not in any document, but derived from the ToAE's principles:

Consider the fine coupling constant's formula in the form α = e²/(2ε₀hc).

On the top we have the quantum of charge, divided by 2 times the ability for that charge to form times the minimum permissable action times the maximum allowed speed.

The '2' in the divider is most probably the same '2' in 'L2 norm', representing the efficient and stable norm to perform the transformation.

This is the coupling constant for C4 -> R4 transformations

In ToAE's words:

α emerges from the variational J functional's parameters (e.g., α ≈ γ / (4π λ), where γ is gradient sensitivity for "felt" change, and λ is fidelity for relational harmony). This fixes α theoretically (≈1/137) via renormalization at complexity cutoffs (ln(Λ)), linking it to the Ising-like coupling J for stability. In essence, α measures the "discard efficiency" of Ri-residues during compression—too strong, reality overcompresses (singularities); too weak, it fragments (no atoms).

This also accounts for the CP symmetry break, as the gap in symmetry is explained as provenient from the chirality of the vortex that the infusion of information into matter creates.
