Warning: This video contains footage of a man shooting a small turtle at point-blank range with a revolver.

Personally, I laughed out loud, but I know not everyone around here is so insensitive.

What struck you as funny?

I cannot speak for Jayson but my own laughter was at the incongruity. Shooting a turtle at point-blank range with a revolver just seems bizarre. Too distant to require the instinct to signal righteous indignation and into the area of "WTF? He just shot a turtle with a revolver. Heh."

Exactly, I was very surprized. I was expecting them to sell it, not shoot it and eat it.

I think the one-sidedness of it made it funny to me. The turtle had absolutely no chance, and it was probably oblivious to any danger. It reminded me of The World's Most One-Sided Fistfights Caught on Film.

Of course I also felt a twinge of pity for the turtle.
