"The first gulp from the glass of natural sciences will make you an atheist, but at the bottom of the glass, God is waiting for you."
Werner Heisenberg
“Do the disbelievers not realize that the heavens and earth were ˹once˺ one mass then We split them apart? And We created from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?”
Quran 21:30
The rough argument goes as follows:
P(The human brain understanding math and physics | intelligent creator) >> P(The human brain understanding math and physics | random chance)
Human beings have miraculously understood reality down to its fundamental parts, and it's mathematical (Newtonian dynamics, Kepler's orbits, the unification of electricity with magnetism with Maxwell's equations, 4d geometry of Ricci and Riemannian Geometry and it's use in Einstein's gravity the universe itself, the imaginary unit and matrices describing complex-valued wavefunctions)
It's too good to be true. Nature never owed us such an efficient explanation. Monkeys on a little planet should not be able to understand the motion of galaxies billions of light years away.
The idea that an infinitely powerful abstract mind, all capable, created a structure that is mathematically elegant and exact is far more likely from a Bayesian perspective than this structure randomly appearing.
Life on Earth itself is a miracle upon the miracle. DNA is a self-replicating code, that allows fully living, thinking, breathing minds to exist.
If the argument that something coming from nothing isn't appealing enough to you, the argument that something mathematically perfect can't come from nothing, should.
"The sun travels for its fixed term. That is the design of the Almighty, All-Knowing."
Quran 36:38
"And He is the One Who created the day and the night, the sun and the moon—each travelling in an orbit."
Quran 21:33
So, who's God? Does he speak? Why are we here? Wouldn't we hope for some kind of explanation for reality and why we do exist?
We are lucky. God speaks. He gave us the Quran (and the Gospels and Torah).
First, if God exists, there is no god except The God. This itself rules out any reference to any entity except for God alone.
This also happens to be the foundation of Islam. That statement is the shahada; the second part is that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is his messenger.
Zakah, or charitable giving is a command from God. We have an innate disposition (fitra) to recognize right and wrong, and it is why we rationally understand giving money to those in need is rationally good thing. EA is indeed derived from our own God-given moral sensibility (this probably requires its own post).

Without commenting on the other claims of the article, I have to disagree with this claim.
First, it is not right to say that today's physics are close to completely describing the dynamics of the universe. There may be, say, particles and that we do not interact with, or only lightly interact with, so that it is difficult to say that there exist (or not) rich dynamics among those particles. (e.g. dark matter/energy/neutrinos)
Second, what does it mean when we describe some dynamics? We know that in certain situations, if we understand an initial state, then things should happen a certain way, if we are interested in only some parts of it. As an analogy, I know how my car reacts when I drive it on the road. That knowledge doesn't mean I know everything about my car. The earlier point is like saying that I don't know how the car "actually works", only how it presents itself to me. But also observe, the dependence on initial state. So knowing where my car is is also very important to me to knowing how it drives, and is fundamental knowledge to driving my car.

Praise be to The God
