Explicitly asking for upvotes is probably bad internet etiquette. (And it doesn't really help if one thinks "it's justified in this case". I'm sure lots of e.g. religious people would think the same.) I'm basically just asking you all to upvote this on Reddit. I think it would be excellent for all the reasons I posted there, and for LessWrong.
Lex does read suggestions like this on his subreddit, and it previously worked for getting both Robin and Eliezer on there.
