That shouldn’t be the question. The question should be, how do we stop AI from wiping out the human race?
What scares me the most is that people think it can’t happen.
All we got to do is look at the world we are living in today. The thousands of years humans have been on this planet and we still can’t live together without going to war. So what do we do? Let’s make the world a better place by building the perfect human, throw it into the mix and everyone will live together in harmony.
As a race we are very intelligent but very stupid.
So how do we stop this from happening.
The first thing is to figure out how to live together without conflict.
To solve any conflict is to understand what conflict is.
Conflict is a difference of opinion on how to solve a problem.
And this is where the stupidity comes in.
What makes humans different from the animals is. We are problem solvers?
So how do you solve a problem. A mathematician trying to solve a maths equation.
He knows the answer but he has to prove the answer by showing his workings.
Why does he even want to solve that equation? Because he is curious and just has to solve it and he can’t just accept the answer without the prove.
A problem is never solved without the proof of how to solve it.
There is only one way for humans to live together without any conflict at all.
And that is if every single person on the planet was Christian!
And that is if every single person on the planet was Muslim!
And that is if every single person on the planet was an atheist!
So that’s the answer, what was the question in the first place.
The question is how did we get here? The question that we have been asking our whole existence. Probably one of the first questions humans started asking. The most important question and it has been answered without showing any workings.
That mathematician, even though he knows 100% that the answer is correct he can’t stop until he can see the prove.
And this is where I think it all went wrong.
Back to AI. What is the perfect AI and why are we trying to develop it?
Well the reason for trying to develop it is to make life better for all humans.
If humans are developing this perfect AI then it has to be the basic programming of the human brain. Learning and solving problems.
Let’s think about our brains is a micro controller. A micro controller is useless unless it is loaded with a program to tell it what to do and how to do it. To add to what it can do you load extra libraries. The perfect AI would be 1 micro controller with one basic program that can write its own libraries “learning”. The more libraries that are added the more the basic program learns. “Upgrades”. We have all heard the expression “everything happens for a reason”. That’s wrong. Everything happens because of a reason. That reason is survival.
And what makes humans unique, is the drive for perfect survival.
Let’s look at 3 theory’s of how we got here.
God created the planet. He created all the animals and plants and oceans. Then he created man to enjoy his creation.
Evolution. Everything has evolved from micro organisms into the world we live in today.
We are just a science experiment of some school kid from an advanced alien race.
Now call it gods greats creation, call it evolution, call it alien intervention, humans have developed over the generations and got a lot better at survival.
The way you develop a micro controller is upgrades of the basic programming. We don’t have a usb at the back of our heads so this is a slow process.
The upgrades have to be passed on over the generations.
Not the brain getting bigger, the programming getting more efficient.
So the reason for all existence is survival. Survival is the common goal of everything. Plants, animals, humans. That’s before how we got here. Think of an upside down pyramid. Right at the bottom is survival. Next comes water and food. After water and food is where it changes. All species need different food. Then comes learning to carry on surviving. Learning what food is needed to survive. What creatures to stay away from because you are their food. That’s where the pyramid stops for animals. That pyramid for humans doesn’t stop. Over the generations the pyramid hasn’t stopped been added to. All to achieve the perfect program for best chances of survival. Over the generations humans have learnt living in groups is better for survival. Living in houses is best for survival. Being happy and enjoying life is important. Having a family and teaching our children how to live happy and healthy. As this “program” has been added to, things that have been learnt and are proven to benefit survival they are added to the basic program. Remember the basic programming is just for survival. What the animals have got. Humans solve problems. With prove and calculation and when they are proved added to the solved problems and use that information to solve new problems. The basic program.
You can call the basic program instinct. You have it but don’t ever think about it.
So what has gone wrong. My theory is that something has slipped into the basic programming right at the beginning and shouldn’t be there. Where we are today we are so advanced that feelings and emotion are part of that program. Compassion and empathy. The need for purpose.
Let’s go to the beginning. Not the very beginning, we have been here for a while and have got to the stage of living in groups. All groups, packs, tribes a leader is formed. Things are working people are living and surviving. This is when curiosity starts with humans. People start asking the question. How did we get here and why are we here.
Now back then our problem solving skills weren’t very good. And that’s a big one to solve for amateurs. Remember everything we do is for survival. Living in a group is important. But if the group is not working together and agreeing on things survival rate starts going down.
The leader is only thinking of survival. So this problem has to be solved. And of course this is the answer. But he doesn’t have the answer. Telling the truth is not going to work. People would doubt him as a leader and everything could go wrong. So what does he do. He gives them the answer the majority want to hear. A lie. But a lie for best chances of survival. For the right reasons. When you learning you have to try something to see if it works. Again a problem is only solved when there is prove and you can see and understand the calculations.
The very thing that makes us human. You can call this consciousness.
This is where the programming went wrong. But how. What he did was solve a problem without any calculations that people would accept temporarily until that calculation could be shown. So he solved it in pencil with the intention to come back with the working and write it in pen. How did he do this. He used the word faith. Now has telling a lie accidentally slip into our basic programming. But so far down we don’t even know what it is. But still only in emergencies when you need an answer there and then.

Leaders of the world. Every leader ever has always made decisions in the best interest of survival. What he thought was the right thing to do. Leaders are there because living in groups is best. Even more hidden. In the world today technology is booming but people seem to be lost. People don’t know what they want. Don’t know what makes them happy. Success is how much money you can make in your life. But people also saying that money doesn’t buy happiness. Nobody trusts anybody. A lie in a program would override another program. That other program is a natural instinct.
Making a decision is solving a problem. A problem can only be solve with a calculation.
A lie solves a problem with no calculation. What makes you happy? Are you sure?
Why is there a problem with addiction in the world. Because we are lying to ourselves about what makes us happy. If you don’t know what happiness is you will never find it. If you don’t know what to believe you just pick a group that kind of makes the most sense and all questions you have answer them with the word faith. If that doesn’t work for you just choose the biggest group and hide in the back.
If lying is so far down there in the programming trust issues will happen. Because if your basic programming is the same as everyone around you, who is telling the truth. What’s wrong with this Adam and Eve? No curiosity. How do you make an innocent, well behaved, do as you tell them, can’t think for themselves human to be curious?
