I have encountered a certain problem related to how we use our mental models in chaotic situations, namely that we often try to perceive chaos through regular models.
This can be called a certain cognitive distortion, I think.
For example, in cases with relationships, at the moment your optimal action may be to please the person. But if you continue to please the person too much, then this can make it so that he begins to get used to it, and this in turn leads to his disadaptation to the external environment, which entails problems if this person ever wanted to leave the comfort zone and do something.
That is, considering local actions and their linear (or even just monotonous) continuation does not work in this case.
What if AI or other advanced technologies expand the boundaries within which one can overdo it and see what is happening beyond the linear approximation of which is the concept of karma/good deeds, etc.
I will immediately criticize myself in that we can learn to model and understand situations in the future much better and avoid chaotic situations where they are fatal for humanity.
