Hello,
We’re running a survey that evaluates hotly debated topics around AI, such as alignment and existential risk, in a quiz format similar to political quizzes like 8values. Our idea is that many contested questions in AI function a lot like political or philosophical views. For example, one of the scales is about whether artificial systems could ever possess consciousness. This is a controversial topic with a wide range of viewpoints, including among AI experts.
Because of this, we designed a simple survey that places you on six different scales, each representing a spectrum of views where there’s genuine disagreement (including among experts). We’re interested in how different viewpoints in AI and AI safety vary and why. I thought the LessWrong community would be one of the first places interested in seeing where they land on these scales.

survey takes roughly 5 to 10 minutes, this is a pilot version, any feedback is appreciated.
