Final update for anyone who RSVP'd: You can park on the street in the area around Moontower. We will be providing lunch as well: breakfast tacos, including vegetarian and vegan options.

We have the whole venue reserved for us.

I notice that the Google Maps record linked shows their hours as 1–7 PM on Sundays. Is that overridden for this event, or is it incorrect to begin with, or has the event timing changed as a result?

It's overridden, we've rented out the place.

Bad news, they now say it is closed entirely today. I don't know if we have it exclusive for today or something else, but I figured I'd note this.

Last question I promise: Is the venue small-kid-friendly? They'll probably be heading out to the nearby park to play shortly after showing up but they would also like to meet people.

The Austin LW/SSC group will be hosting Scott Alexander of AstralCodexTen (announcement on his blog) on Sunday, February 27th. See event details for the location.

We will provide lunch (breakfast tacos including vegetarian and vegan options), snacks, and drinks (including water).

Scott will only be there until 3, but we have the place until 8 pm.

Parking: The parking lot at Moontower will fill up quickly, but you can park on the street around the venue.
