Central, Hong Kong – ACX Meetups Everywhere Fall 2023

Thanks everyone for coming! For those of you who couldn't make it - I've started a WhatsApps group containing people who signed up at the meetup. According to HKO the signal will not go above T3 today (https://www.hko.gov.hk/textonly/warning/ea.htm). So, it might be a bit windy/rainy but we should be able to go ahead. Look forward to seeing you all later today!

How much earlier can I come to the venue? Estimating when should I leave my home.

Unfortunately the person I’m collecting the keys from is running15 mins late so we won’t be able to get in until 2:45. I’ll still be there at 2:30 though

I just got on A11 from the Bridge station, so everything should be ok.

If the typhoon signal is raised from T3 to T8 signal, I guess we'll have to cancel. Luckily that is not looking likely right now.

Yep, hope the typhoon doesn't disrupt things too much! I live on the island so I'll be there anyway :-)

Depends on the typhoon :/. I have no idea whether I can come from Macau on Saturday.

(does anyone here understand the typhoon data well enough to tell me whether it may actually be problematic or I am worrying too much.)

I have updated the event to show that we are going to use the alternative venue at 3rd Wave Art Studio, Room B, 2/F, Hollywood Building, 186 Hollywood Rd, Sheung Wan. This is because the original location has suffered water damage :-(
