Aversion Factoring is from the CFAR (Center for Applied Rationality) handbook. It looks at a habit that you want to start but haven’t, or that you want to continue but feel like stopping, and it examines what’s keeping you from doing it, and then looks for ways to overcome the aversions or find a better alternative. At this meetup, we’re going to walk through how the technique works and then practice it ourselves.

Note: I've never worked for CFAR or attended their classes, I'm running purely off the written handbook. If you have and you'd like to attend, I'd be delighted to have you around to course correct me!
