There was this blog of a person that I think was part of this community or was referenced by people here, it had one article in which it discussed the idea of general intelligence as a game that is played "to keep playing" about finding meaning on random pieces of information

and several posts about fictional stories with weird settings, like I believe Ballard's The Concentration City or other works of his. There probably were some references to Borges and the artist Escher also.

Does anyone know the name?
