Discussion article for the meetup : Paris, Sunday November 13

WHEN: 13 November 2011 02:00:00PM (+0100)

WHERE: Café des Arts et Métiers‎, 51 Rue Turbigo, Paris

The next Paris Meetup will be Sunday, November 13, at the Café des Arts et Métiers opposite the Museum (and not in the Café that's inside the Museum, like last time, because on Sundays you can't get to it without a Museum ticket).

There should be at least Morendil, kilobug and me - and maybe you too!

I’m likely to be there too.

For once I have a specific agenda in mind: I'd be keen to discuss calibrated probability assessments, and the tools which afford recording such, or make games of them. (PredictionBook, Guessum, prediction markets, etc.)

I'm currently in the planning stages of a project of that type for work-related purposes; in particular I'm working right now on a 30 minute talk that I'll be giving to an audience of about 100 software engineers on November 10. I'm also up for discussing my experiences with the Good Judgment Project.

(I would also consider coming to a meetup in London or elsewhere relatively close by that covered these topics specifically.)

will there be a meeting this week?
