Jeez, GPT-6.1-Sol seems to be borderline-sandbagging on some safety-adjacent research. I just ran a swarm with two starting nodes (they spun up 38 subagents) with the goal of basically making a fine-tuned NLA to extract "what is the current goal" from reasoning models. After twelve hours, 1933 messages, and $600 total spent, they produced verbalisers which only ever output a single sentence. Completely collapsed to zero entropy. Edit: one of four verbalisers only produced a single sentence, the other three just produced gibberish. Given that the tech to produce NLAs already exists, this is a pretty ridiculous failure for a swarm setup which can get SOTA performance on ProgramBench at ~10s of dollars per problem.

Did you try setting up a recurring task every hour to point out anything stupid the other agent is doing, and find any issues and root cause them?
