There's a CAP theorem-style constraint on AI agents. Agents can either be Autonomous and Reliable (by severely constraining the task space), Reliable and Creative (but not Autonomous because human oversight is needed when the task space is infinite), or Creative and Autonomous (but not reliable for obvious reasons). You can't have all three.
